A Moonlit Proposal

Lucy and Ciaron met nearly 7 years ago now. They've been a happy couple ever since and the bond which holds them so tightly together is their mutual love of the great outdoors.

In October 2021 they were able to finally have their first weekend away, just the two of them, since having their gorgeous children, Izzy (3) and George (4). ⁠ 

“Being the big kids that we are we booked a 2 day stay at ‘Snowdonia Adventure Park’!⁠” 

It was a wild couple of days of paddle boarding, ninja warrior assault course negotiating, and generally mucking about in giant adult soft play! ⁠ However, there was more on Ciaron’s mind than just ball pits and rope climing….⁠ 

“On the first night, after dinner, we went for a lovely, romantic, moonlit walk and under the beautiful full moon and he proposed!”⁠ 

⁠It was the perfect end to a truly magical day!⁠ 

⁠Ciaron proposed using one of our cherry wood proposal rings and they then went on to design Lucy’s engagement ring together. ⁠ 

⁠“I chose the engagement ring to be the same wood as the proposal ring because Ciaron had chosen that.” ⁠ 

Lucy was drawn to mother of pearl because she wanted something with a little bit of sparkle which would complement the wood they used. It was a fantastic choice as the final piece is really special. 

⁠“We would like to get our wedding rings designed with you too, I’m thinking a mix of metal and cherry wood this time”⁠
