Our Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Eco Wood Rings. We create and sell our wooden rings subject to the following conditions.
Design and Colour Variation
All of our designs are handmade from natural materials and therefore no two rings will ever be the same, due to colour and grain variations between the woods used. This variation is part of the charm of hand-worked and natural materials, and ensures that you will be purchasing a truly unique ring. All photos on the website are indicative only and are not of the exact ring that you will receive.
Ring Care
Whilst the process used to create our bentwood rings retains the natural strength of the wood, a wooden ring will never be as hard as a metal band. The greatest determining factor to the ring’s lifespan is the care it receives on a regular basis. Please see our FAQs page for more information on ring strength, longevity and care.
Unless otherwise stated or requested, all of our bentwood rings will have a protective finish applied. We will refinish any of our rings in the future for a small charge to cover the costs involved in this process (currently £75).
Prices
Prices do change occasionally and we would inform you prior to final payment if this is the case with your order. Orders are only passed on to our workshop for production once full payment has been received by us. For orders outside of the UK, prices do not include postage (see below).
Shipping and Handling
Once we have received payment, it will take between 6-8 weeks until your rings are ready, subject to availability of the chosen materials. This may be slightly longer for orders placed at peak times, although it can be quicker too. We will always do our utmost to bring your rings to you as quickly as possible without compromising on quality and care. For rush orders, we offer a priority production service which can reduce that time to 1-3 weeks (and currently costs £75 for a bentwood or carbon fibre ring and £100 for a metal ring with wood inlay)'.
All rings destined for UK addresses will be posted free of charge using Royal Mail Special Delivery. For orders outside of the UK, we will ship your rings to you via FedEx. A charge of £35 is applicable for shipments within the EU, and £45 for destinations outside the EU. All shipping charges are calculated based on a flat rate regardless of the weight of each order or number of items bought.
VAT
For all orders sent to UK-based customers, 20% VAT is included in the price. VAT is also applied to all orders placed directly through our website. If you are based outside of the UK then please contact us so that we can help with your order by email/online invoice, with no VAT added. Please note that all international orders could be subject to import duties and taxes on arrival, which are the customer's responsibility.
Returns Policy
We hope that you will be delighted with your wood ring. As all of our rings are made to order, orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed and we are also unable to accept returns. Please therefore choose your ring carefully, especially the size. If for any reason your ring doesn't fit, we can attempt to resize it for you (for bentwood and metal rings with wood inlays only, it's not possible to resize carbon fibre rings or bentwood rings with metal liners), although this can normally be by a maximum of one whole size up or down. The current price for this service is £80 for a bentwood ring, or £100 for a metal ring with wood inlay. If the size of the ring is out by a greater amount than that, or if you have ordered a carbon fibre and wood ring, or a bentwood ring with metal liner, then we offer to take back the original ring and to remake the ring for you in the correct size at a heavily discounted price.
Defective goods may be returned for exchange, provided that they are returned to us within 15 working days of receipt, unworn and in their original packaging.
No returns are accepted without our prior authorisation by email.
Payment
We accept payment by all major credit and debit cards. Rings from our pre-designed collection can be purchased direct through the website. For custom designs you will be sent an invoice for your order with payment instructions. We do require payment in full before commencing with orders.
Our Privacy Pledge
It is our policy to respect your internet privacy. Eco Wood Rings does not sell its customer lists to any third party organisations. Please advise us if you would like to opt out of occasional future email messages from Eco Wood Rings.
E-mail Communications
When visiting www.ecowoodrings.co.uk or sending emails to us, you are communicating with us electronically and you consent to receive communications from us electronically.
Trademarks & Copyright
“Eco Wood Rings” is a trade name and may be used solely by our authorised licensees. Any unauthorised use of this name is not permitted.
Design Copyright
All of our rings are original designs and are subject to copyright law. Copies of any such copyright-protected designs may not be made without our express written permission.
Website Copyright
All images and text on our website are copyright. They may not be reproduced without our express written permission. The compilation of all content on this site is the exclusive property of Eco Wood Rings and is protected by copyright law. All software on this site is the property of Eco Wood Rings or its suppliers and is protected by copyright law.
Site Access
Eco Wood Rings grants you a limited licence to access and make personal use of this site. You must not download (other than printed pages for personal reference) or make commercial use of or modify it, or any part of it, except with our express written permission.

Eco Wood Rings makes no representations or warranties concerning the operation of this site, nor the content, materials or products displayed on it. Use of this site is at your sole risk. We do not warrant that e-mail or other communications from this site are free of viruses or other harmful components and we will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from use of this site.
