“I saw the initial design, loved it, and felt instinctively that it was the right choice for the proposal, but as the ring needed to be re-sized, we had the chance to personalise it and decided to incorporate gold flakes and crushed diamonds from a ring that belonged to my fiancée’s mother. Now we have the perfect design that represents us, which also has sentimental importance and a connection to family.”
Of all the rings he looked at, this one stood out, and he knew his fiancée would love the rich, blue colour. When it was resized, they were able to change the design by adding their own materials and opting for a slightly darker wood, Walnut, to better match her skin tone.
